AZ SM01 Mesic Pollinator Mix


Balanced at approximately 75% wildflowers and 25% grasses, this mix provides season-long bloom from early summer through fall. Species were selected for adaptability, wildlife value, and visual appeal, making this mix suitable for pollinators, monarch habitat, and general wildlife plantings. A native milkweed species is included to support monarch butterflies while maintaining broad pollinator benefit.

Milkweed, Showy (0.15), Grama, Blue  (2.025), Beeplant, Rocky Mountain (1.78), Prairie Clover, White (0.3), Bottlebrush squirreltail (0.14), Indian blanket (0.75), Sunflower, Annual (1.6), Aster, Prairie (Tahoika daisy) (0.05), Mint, Lemon (0.05), Coneflower, Prairie (Long-headed) (0.3). This mix is appropriate for conservation plantings, pollinator habitat, wildlife areas, and restoration projects where native diversity and long-term performance are priorities.

Seeding & Management Notes

  • Dormant fall seeding is strongly recommended
  • Broadcasting is acceptable; ensure good seed-to-soil contact
  • A fiber matrix is recommended on slopes or exposed sites to reduce erosion
  • Avoid over-seeding grasses to maintain forb dominance
