WA SM01 Central CP2 50pt Seed Mixes 6"-15"


The mix includes a combination of cool-season native bunchgrasses, a native forb, and basin big sagebrush to provide soil stabilization, long-term grass cover, and woody structure for wildlife habitat. Species were selected for adaptability to central Washington conditions while remaining compatible with CP2 program specifications.

Sagebrush establishment may be variable and is influenced by site conditions and planting method

  • Plant into a firm, weed-free seedbed
  • Proper site preparation and weed control are critical for successful establishment
  • Management and maintenance should follow NRCS and local conservation guidance
  • Basin wildrye may be substituted in draws or areas with increased moisture
  • Indian ricegrass may be substituted on sandy soil sites
