Installer Notes

Site Prep

  • Kill cool-season weeds before seeding; avoid fertilization
  • Scarify sand surfaces or drag-harrow lightly for seed-to-soil contact

Seeding Timing

  • Best: Dormant-seed late fall (Nov–Dec)
  • Alternative: Early spring before soil temps rise

Seeding Method

  • Broadcast or drill 
  • Press-wheel/cultipack after seeding for soil contact

Management

  • Mow weeds to 8–10" in year one
  • Long-term: 1–2x/year mowing or periodic fire where allowed
