MT SM01 Eastern Mid-Grass/Shrub Wildlife Mix

Designed for:

  • CRP / CP2-style wildlife cover
  • Gamebird brood habitat
  • Mule deer & pronghorn forage
  • Shrub steppe restoration

Region: Eastern MT – plains, breaks, sagebrush grasslands

Key species like Wyoming big sagebrush, rabbitbrush, and winterfat provide critical year-round browse, while a cool-season / warm-season grass blend delivers resilience against drought and annual grass pressure. Prairie clovers and coneflower extend bloom windows and improve soil health through long-term perennial root systems.
