CA SM01 Native Pollinator Central Regional Mix

With a diverse suite of spring- and early-summer blooming annuals and short-lived perennials, this mix provides critical nectar and pollen resources for native bees, honey bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects. Species such as California poppy, phacelia, baby blue-eyes, five-spot, clarkia, and Chinese houses ensure strong early visual impact and rapid establishment, while yarrow, gumplant, lupine, and sunflower contribute mid-season structure and forage.

Light inclusions of native grasses (blue grama, blue wildrye, Sandberg bluegrass, nodding needlegrass) provide soil stabilization and habitat structure without suppressing wildflower expression. This balance makes the mix well-suited for pollinator plantings, field borders, buffer strips, roadsides, conservation plantings, and wildlife enhancement areas.
